Step out of your apartment, cross the lawn barefoot and let the water do the rest. Our swimming pool in Versilia sits in the middle of the garden, framed by white stone, olive trees and tall green hedges: a private corner of Tuscany where the only schedule is the one the sun decides.
In the morning it is still and silent, perfect for a first swim before the beach. In the afternoon the loungers fill with books and slow conversations. And when the sky turns violet, the lights come on under the water and the whole garden seems to glow.

The first swim
The water is cool and perfectly still. Swim a few slow lengths while the garden wakes up, then breakfast outside with wet hair and the whole day ahead.
Sun, shade and a good book
Choose a lounger under the parasols, doze to the sound of the palms, cool off in the shallow corner. The beaches of Marina di Pietrasanta are only 2 km away, but many afternoons you will not want to leave.
Aperitivo by the water
A glass of Vermentino, the last warm light on the yellow villa, the pool turning from blue to silver. This is the hour guests remember most.
Under the stars
The underwater lights come on, the stone pergola glows and the garden falls silent. One last swim in the turquoise water, and then to bed.

The pool is open from May to October, weather permitting, for all guests staying at Dimora Arabella.
Is the pool shared?
Yes, but only with the guests of our three apartments, ARA, ARABELLA and BELLA: no day visitors, no crowds, just a quiet garden.
Is there a shallow area for children?
Yes, the pool has a shallow corner with wide steps. There is no lifeguard, so children must always be accompanied by an adult. See our house rules.
Is the pool lit in the evening?
Yes. Underwater lights make the pool glow turquoise after sunset, and the stone pergola next to it is lit for dinners and evening drinks.
What else is there around the pool?
