The data controller is Ara Srls, registered office Via Scirocco 53, 55049 Viareggio (LU), Italy – VAT No. 02696680467 – email info@dimoraarabella.com – phone +39 335 135 7069. Ara Srls manages the holiday apartments of Dimora Arabella, Via Spirito Santo, Pietrasanta (LU).

02What data we collect

• Contact and booking requests – name, email address, phone number, dates of stay, number of guests and any information you choose to include in your message. The request form on our website does not store data on our servers: it opens your email app with a pre-filled message addressed to us.
• Guest data for your stay – identity document details of each guest, as required by Italian law for all accommodation providers.
• Payment data – only what is needed to manage payments and invoicing. We never store full card numbers on this website.
• Browsing data – technical data such as IP address, browser type and pages visited, automatically recorded by the web server for security and operation of the site.

04Bookings through online portals

If you book through Booking.com, Holidu, Bookiply, VacationRenter or other platforms, the portal collects your data as an independent data controller under its own privacy policy. The portal then shares with us only the details we need to host you.

05Who receives your data

• Public authorities, when required by law (for example the State Police for guest registration and the tax authorities);
• trusted service providers acting on our behalf, such as our website hosting provider, email provider, accountant and payment services, bound by data processing agreements;
• the booking portal you used, for bookings made through it.

We never sell your data.

06Data outside the EU

Some providers we use (for example Google, for the fonts and the map shown on this website) may process data outside the European Union. In these cases transfers take place on the basis of the safeguards provided by the GDPR, such as the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.

07How long we keep your data

• Requests that do not lead to a booking: up to 12 months;
• booking, accounting and tax records: for the period required by Italian law (normally 10 years);
• guest registration data: only for the time strictly necessary to send it to the authorities, as required by law;
• marketing communications: until you withdraw your consent.

This website uses only technical cookies that are necessary for it to work, which do not require your consent. Some pages display content from third parties that may set their own cookies or collect your IP address:

• Google Fonts – typefaces used for the design of the website;
